This program provides a reconstructive plastic surgeon:
- A fully funded scholarship to visit the Plastic Surgery Service at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, New York for 1-3 weeks.
- An additional stipend of up to $2,500 to visit other international plastic surgery centers of the recipient's choice.
Goals:
- Provide a valuable educational experience.
- Exchange ideas and develop collaboration.
- Create lasting relationships between institutions.
Selection Criteria:
- A reconstructive surgeon who has been in practice for less than 15 years.
- He/She should be on staff at an academic institution.
- He/She should have demonstrated strong clinical and research productivity in reconstructive plastic surgery.
- One scholar is chosen every year.
